TIPS ON HOW TO DONATE EYES FOR DONORS
1. Fill the pledge form attached and register your intention of donating your eyes.
Though this step IS not necessary. it is useful to declare your commitment.
2. Preserve the donor card carefully It will serve as a long-term reminder for every one
3. Declare your Intention of eye donation to your family members. friends, doctor and relatives
4. If you shift to a new house record the address and telephone no. of the new eye bank nearest to your home

TIPS FOR RELATIVES
1. Get the vital death certificate qUickly and call the nearest eye bank for eye donation.
2. SWitch off fans (keep Ac. on) and place wet cotton/cloth With Ice cubes over the closed eye lids. It will help keep the eye balls moist.
3, Raise the head With pillows
4, Fill up the consent form for eye donation
5, Please note that a blood sample is collected from the donor to check for HIV,Hepatitis. etc

Provide adequate support to the eye bank functionaries to enucleate the corneas Without delay
